Dawn Challoner
A qualified and experienced, person centred, integrative counselling therapist, registered with the BACP – the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am available to work with you privately, one to one, from therapy rooms in central Bristol, at both BS2 and BS6.
My work elsewhere includes both individuals and groups and I have supported people through change, in the corporate environment, for over 25 years.
As a counsellor I chose, in 2012, to specialise in loss and grief with the bereavement support agency, Cruse and am accredited by them for both bereavement support and supervision.
Additionally I have worked as a sessional counsellor for Bristol Mind, helping clients facing a wide variety of concerns from anxiety and depression through to more complex mental health issues.
Having trained to work therapeutically with children and young people I have done so with OTR; I have also mentored at City Academy and currently teach counselling skills at City of Bristol College.
I undergo regular supervision and training, in order to keep my practise safe, ethical, relevant and as effective as possible.
